Wellbeing Compass

The DF Student Wellbeing Compass is structured into four main categories. Each question in these categories
will be answered on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being totally dissatisfied and 10 being very satisfied

    Academic Success:

    This category focuses on evaluating study habits, learning environment, goal attainment, and self-esteem and confidence. It provides feedback and guidance to help students improve their academic performance, set and achieve goals, and develop a positive mindset.

    1. How satisfied are you with your study habits?

    2. How satisfied are you with your learning environment?

    3. How satisfied are you with reaching your academic goals?

    Emotional Resilience:

    The Emotional Resilience category assesses stress management, resilience and adaptability, and rest and recovery. It aims to enhance students' ability to manage stress, bounce back from challenges, and prioritise self-care practices.

    4. How satisfied are you with your confidence in yourself?

    5. How satisfied are you with how you manage stress?

    6. How satisfied are you with your ability to bounce back from challenges?

    Social Connection:

    This category encompasses friendship and peer support, family relationships, and community engagement. It evaluates the quality of social connections and encourages students to cultivate meaningful relationships, strengthen family bonds, and actively engage with their community.

    7. How satisfied are you with the quality of your friendships and the support you get from your peers?

    8. How satisfied are you with your relationships with your family members?

    9. How active are you in your community (e.g., clubs, volunteering)?

    Physical Wellness:

    The Physical Wellbeing category focuses on exercise and movement, nutrition and healthy habits, and rest and recovery. It emphasises the importance of regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, and adequate rest for maintaining optimal physical health.
